A Strand of Hair.

Waving in the wind like waves on the ocean. Blacker then black could ever be. A strand of hair is what it is. A long pick like thing is run through me untying me from my friend. Sitting on top of the world. For everyone to see. I get in peoples way of seeing and sometimes hearing. When the winter time hits I feel so cold I stand as tall as I can until a warm fuzzy coat is put on me. I smile and relax again. In the summer time I sweat from all the heat around me. When cool water is poured over me once again I smile and breathe a breath of relief. When the winter has come to an end I know that it will never be the same. I was as long as a meter stick until a lawn mower runs through me and cuts me in two. One half of me stay while the other falls to the bottom of the earth screaming in pain. For this I am ungrateful I sit on the top of the world. I am a strand of hair nothing more and nothing less. I love to fly in the wind and hide in the winter. When winter ends I will still be on top of the world for all to see but won't be in my normal way until the summer ends. I will again be as long as a meter stick.

Review For "Cars" The Movie

"Cars" is a movie made Disney Pixar. Its a story about a up and coming race car Lighting McQueen and how a little town called radiator springs changes his whole live. What Disney did well was they made it an animation film so little kids would like it. They also put many different lessons in it as well. The single most important lesson that anyone can take from this movie is the importance of team work. In the begging Lighting McQueen is a winner and thinks that winning is the key to life. In the of the movie he considers that winning isn't everything and loses the race to help out another car. Another great lesson is doing the right thing can be rewarding. This movie is worth watching over and over again just so you can get all the lessons from this wonderful movie. The movie has nothing in it to complain about. In the end when he gives up the cup they show Chuck getting the cup but no one is paying attention to him cause he was selfish. It just proves the fact of the lessons that they really did work. Everyone should watch this movie no questions asked. It's just the best movie ever.

The Lack Of Concern Brings Danger

In the story the "Lottery" by Shirley Jackson is telling a story that starts to seem very happy. A perfect community where everyone knows everyone. In the end of the story Jackson twists it. Talking about a box and how you pick out a piece of paper making every reader think they are picking lottery tickets out. When it gets twisted it turns out that the little paper you pick out is actually the worst thing you could ever imagine if it has a little dot on it. In the end the family that had the paper with a dot on it would lose a family member by everyone in this perfect community by stoning the mother to death. During the Holocaust Hitler had killed millions of Jews just because they didn't have blond hair and blue eyes and thought they were parasites. Which was the master race he wanted to create. Hitler killed millions of people for no reason as did the people in the lottery did as well.

Perception is everything

The Polar Bear Swim: Its completely different for a guy then a girl to go swimming. They guys have to throw on a pair of shorts and just go. A girl has to wear a bathing suit but they also have to think "Am I tanned enough?" "Am I skinny enough?" "Do I look good?" The guys don't have to worry about that. Guys in everyday life have it way easier then a girl does. Girls seem to always have to have the perfect body and perfect face just to get a guy to recognize her. Guys think that if you play a sport you should be skinny and fit. Truth is no one is what you think. The girl that might be a little bit bigger then the models you see are probably the nicest people you will ever meet. Perception is everything in the real world when it really shouldn't be. The way you see the world will be completely different from anyone else you know or don't know.

I'd Walk A Mile

I would walk a mile for my family. I would do anything for my family. I would step in front of a bullet for anyone in the family especially for my grandpa. He has been there since I was born. We've done everything together. We've fished together, went for walks, have naps at the same time, and sometimes we just sit there and talked the whole time about how much we love each other. My mom means the world to me. I would do anything for her and she knows that. She has been through the good and bad times as I have been there for her. I would walk anywhere for my family even if it killed me to do so. That's what I would walk a mile for.

Super Duper Powers

If I could think of any super power in the world it would have to be the ability to be invisible. I would choose this power so that I could just disappear when times got tough and I just needed to get away and vent to myself, or to a friend, usually the bestfriend Rae =). I would be able to hide from danger and my fears, and all those things that would bother me before and that I could try and figure out when I wanted to later. I could cry and no one would find out, and than I wouldn't feel akward or ashamed about crying. Because that's one of my biggest downfalls. This would be the super power that I pick because for me it would be the most benefical.
